Shelley is a seasoned meditation facilitator and intuitive consultant who has a passion for inner transformation. She is wholeheartedly dedicated to facilitating personal development in her clients, especially as it relates to family dynamics.
She is an instructor at the University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies, in the Foundations of Applied Mindfulness and Meditation Program.
Shelley is the International Trainer of Transformative Mindfulness Methods supporting practitioners in 13 countries. She received her first training and certification with the developer of these methods, Dekyi-Lee Oldershaw, in 2005. Shelley has been actively practicing and sharing these methods since she was introduced to them in 2003.
She is a Co-Founder of Mindfulness Halton/Peel Professional Community, a non-profit organization that offered a platform for sharing information about professional development, retreats, and other related mindfulness-based workshops and events, from 2012 to 2020.
Shelley was the Program Coordinator for The Centre For Compassion & Wisdom and was responsible for bringing Universal Education Programs to the community. She has been a member of the community since 2006, and was on the board of directors from 2012 to 2020.
She is a 16 Guidelines Accredited Facilitator, a globally-offered program that is recognized by the Foundation For Developing Compassion and Wisdom, (FDCW) London, United Kingdom. As a faculty member she has shared presentations in Canada, US and France.
